Social media management

Posting is easy. Giving the channel a job takes work.

targetLAB plans and manages selected social channels, turns client material into publishable content and connects each profile to a useful next step.

A busy feed can still leave the visitor with nowhere useful to go. The profile, pinned material, link and content topics need to answer what the business offers, why it is credible and what the reader should do next.

Platform choice comes before the content calendar. Instagram, Telegram and organic Facebook are selected for the project according to the audience and the role of the channel; they are not an automatic bundle.

targetLAB develops the direction, adapts client material, prepares and publishes content, and may promote selected posts as part of channel management. The client supplies source material and answers comments and direct messages; targetLAB defines the response rules and route for commercial enquiries.

Channel changes

The feed now rewards behaviour, not a posting habit

Platform signals, declining organic distribution and European advertising rules all affect what a social channel can reasonably be asked to do.

01

Instagram named the signals it watches most closely

On 22 January 2025, Instagram head Adam Mosseri named average watch time, likes per reach and sends per reach as the three leading ranking signals. Comments were not in that list, although the statement did not say that comments have no value.

02

Organic reach fell while format performance split

Metricool measured average Instagram post reach down 31% and Reels reach down 35% in 2025 compared with 2024, across 39,762,999 posts. Its January–February 2026 format study found the steepest reach decline among single-photo posts. This is a vendor dataset, not a rule for every account.

03

Meta changed personalisation and attribution in the EU

European users began receiving a less-personalised advertising option in January 2026. Meta also stopped supporting the 7-day and 28-day view-through attribution windows from 12 January 2026. Targeting and reported conversions therefore follow different rules from older campaign guides.

In Czechia, platform choice depends on audience and age

Advertising-tool estimates collected by DataReportal for October 2025 put Czech Facebook reach at 5.00 million and Instagram reach at 3.95 million. For audiences under 18, Meta has limited ad personalisation to age and location since 20 February 2023. The reach figures are platform estimates, not counts of unique active users.

Advertising reach is a platform estimate, not a count of unique people. Organic studies describe their samples and periods; they do not set a universal benchmark for a client account.

What the work covers

Build a channel people can understand and act on

The work begins with the role of the platform, then moves through profile, source material, publishing, response routing and measurement.

  1. 01

Assign a role to each channel

A platform may provide a first introduction, proof of work, repeat contact or timely updates. Instagram, Telegram and organic Facebook are selected according to that role and the audience rather than promised to every business.

  2. 02

Prepare the profile for the next step

The description, pinned material, contacts, links and calls to action are checked as one route. UTM tagging separates useful traffic without turning the profile into a wall of tracking links.

  3. 03

    Build content from the business

Topics come from the offer, common objections, seasonal decisions and real customer questions. Models can group public reviews and help compare angles; facts, tone and Czech context are checked before publication. Personal data from messages is not sent to AI tools.

  4. 04

    Produce from client material

targetLAB writes the posts, adapts supplied photos and video, and creates straightforward visual treatments. Larger shoots remain with the client or photographer, supported by a practical brief for the required scenes and formats.

  5. 05

Prepare and publish at an agreed rhythm

Content is edited for the selected format, approved and published according to the available source material and the job of the channel. The rhythm is agreed for the project rather than sold as a universal daily schedule.

  6. 06

    Route comments and direct messages

The client answers comments and direct messages. targetLAB prepares the response rules, escalation path and routing for commercial enquiries.

  7. 07

    Measure and promote selected content

Links, useful profile actions, enquiries, saves, sends and other relevant signals are reviewed within the platform’s limits. Selected posts may receive Meta promotion as part of channel management; standalone Meta Ads campaigns belong to PPC.

What remains in the client’s hands

  • Decision on the role and choice of channels
  • Profile, pinned-material and link requirements
  • Content directions and a working backlog
  • Approved, publishable posts
  • Straightforward visual adaptations from client material
  • Photo and video briefs
  • Comment and direct-message response rules
  • Link tagging, performance review and selected-content promotion settings

The client provides source material and answers comments and messages. Standalone Meta Ads management sits under PPC; SMM promotion is limited to selected content within the managed channel.

Social media questions

Choosing the channel and dividing the work

Should the business use Instagram, Telegram or Facebook?

The answer depends on the audience and the channel’s job. Instagram suits visual discovery and proof, Telegram suits direct updates to an audience already gathered there, and organic Facebook remains relevant for selected Czech audiences and community contexts. The project may use one channel or a deliberate combination.

Is organic Facebook included?

It is selected per project. Facebook is not added as a checkbox, and it is not excluded by default. Audience, existing presence, available material and the intended next action decide whether organic management belongs in the scope.

Does SMM include Meta Ads?

SMM may include paid promotion of selected posts or channel content. A standalone Meta Ads programme with its own acquisition objective, audiences, placements, budgets and creative tests belongs to PPC.

Who produces the photos and video?

The client supplies existing material or arranges the shoot. targetLAB writes the brief, selects what is needed for each format, adapts straightforward assets and turns the material into publishable posts. A production crew is not part of the service.

How often will content be published?

The rhythm follows the role of the channel, the amount of useful source material and the approval process. A steady schedule matters, but a fixed daily output would encourage filler and make the wrong promise before the material is known.

Who answers comments and messages, and how is the work assessed?

The client answers comments and direct messages. targetLAB prepares the response rules and commercial handover route. Assessment uses the actions that fit the channel: useful clicks, enquiries, saves, sends, profile actions and the quality of traffic, read alongside the platform’s attribution limits.

Discuss the channel that has work to do

Share the current profile, the material already available and the action people should take after seeing the content. The conversation can begin with platform choice, a stalled content plan, unclear links or a channel that is active without a defined role.
